This full day tour will take you around Malta’s most acclaimed prehistoric sites.
You will start your tour by visiting Hagar Qim (c. 3600 - 3200 BC) which is located on a hilltop overlooking the sea and the small uninhabited island of Filfla. The temple consists of one single unit however other temple ruins stand a few meters away hence it is believed that it originally it was part of other temples. Many interesting items have been discovered at Hagar Qim, notably a decorated pillar altar, two table-altars and some of the ‘fat lady’ statues on display in the National Museum of Archaeology.. more.
